Abu Dhabi, April 18, 2025 – Honorable Minister for Health and Population of Nepal, Mr. Pradeep Paudel, is currently representing Nepal at the Abu Dhabi Global Health Week 2025, being held from April 15 to 17. Minister Paudel actively participated in the Global Health Week Forum and visited various sessions and exhibitions at the event, showcasing Nepal’s commitment to global health collaboration.
The forum gathered health ministers and over 1,900 delegates from around 100 countries, aiming to address global health challenges. Nepal also had a dedicated exhibition stall representing its health policies and initiatives during the event, which was well-received by visitors.
During the event, Minister Paudel met with H.E. Ibrahim Al Mansoori, Chairman of the Department of Health, Abu Dhabi. Their discussion covered health system digitization, Nepal’s graduation from LDC (Least Developed Country) status by 2026, and progress towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030. Nepal expressed interest in adapting the Universal Converge System and expanding services such as kidney dialysis centers and organ transplantation facilities with UAE collaboration.






Chairman Al Mansoori assured support in building legal and policy frameworks for such cooperation and emphasized the potential for a future MoU between the two nations to foster health sector development.
Following the summit, Minister Paudel is scheduled to attend the Nepal Festival 2025, being held on April 20 in Abu Dhabi, as a chief guest, strengthening cultural and diplomatic ties between Nepal and the UAE.
