Dubai, UAE, October 2025 – The Consulate General of Nepal in Dubai has shown its strong commitment to serving the Nepalese community across the United Arab Emirates.
According to the Consulate, a total of 1,348 Nepalese citizens applied for new passports between September 1 and September 30, 2025. Despite the high volume of applications and printing delays in Kathmandu, 185 passports have already been printed and are ready for collection. The Consulate has made the list of names available on its official website, making it easier for applicants to check their passport status online.
This transparent and well-organized process has been warmly appreciated by the community. Many have praised the consulate for providing regular updates and for communicating clearly with the public instead of leaving people uncertain or dependent on second-hand information.
The Consulate has also taken extra care to support individuals who urgently need passports for visa renewals, travel, or other essential reasons. Those facing time-sensitive situations can contact the consulate directly with payment receipts to receive priority assistance.
Officials have advised all Nepalese in the UAE to check their passport expiry dates regularly and to apply for renewal at least six months in advance. This simple precaution helps prevent unnecessary difficulties, especially for workers with tight schedules.
Recognizing the demanding lifestyle of many Nepalese in the UAE, the Consulate has even introduced flexible biometric arrangements. Applicants who cannot visit during weekdays may now be able to complete their biometric process on Fridays or holidays, depending on appointment availability.
These thoughtful efforts have earned widespread appreciation and strengthened trust between the Consulate and the Nepalese community. Many have expressed gratitude for the Consulate’s professionalism, compassion, and continued dedication to improving public service.
The Nepalese Consulate in Dubai continues to set an inspiring example of responsible and people-centered diplomacy—working with empathy, transparency, and efficiency for the benefit of every Nepalese living in the UAE.
