Dubai, UAE – July 30, 2025: The Nepal Association – NRNA NCC UAE has formally removed its General Secretary, Bhuwan Kumar Wagle, from all roles and responsibilities within the organization, effective immediately.
In an official press release, NRNA NCC UAE President Mr. Bikash Shahi stated that the decision was made after serious disciplinary concerns were raised and repeatedly verified. Based on the findings from an internal study and disciplinary committee, Mr. Wagle was found to have violated the organization’s standards of conduct.
The key reasons for his dismissal include:
- Continuous negligence and irresponsibility in fulfilling his duties as General Secretary.
- Complete failure to perform his assigned role.
- Disruptive and disrespectful behavior towards leadership, including former presidents and officials, and use of abusive, defamatory, and offensive language.
- Conduct that goes against the organizational spirit, values, and unity of the Nepali diaspora.
- Involvement in activities that have severely damaged the organization’s image and triggered division within the community.
- Violation of ethical and behavioral codes, including spreading rumors and accusations, and engaging in personal attacks on social media.
- Repeated disobedience and disruption of social harmony and cooperation.
In accordance with Article 34 of the 2019 Constitution of NRNA NCC UAE, and upon the unanimous recommendation of the disciplinary committee and internal leadership, Mr. Bhuwan Kumar Wagle has been relieved from all positions, responsibilities, and authorities within the organization.
The organization also stated that he will no longer represent NRNA NCC UAE in any form going forward.
The release concludes with a call to uphold unity, dignity, and collective responsibility within the Nepali community in the UAE.
