Nepali music lovers in the UAE are in for a major treat as popular singer Kumar Sagar and the iconic Khwopa Band are set to perform live for the first time in Dubai at the 3rd Annual ‘Gorkha Sanjh’. The grand musical celebration will be held on 20th July 2025 at Al Nasr Leisureland, Dubai.
Organized under the banner of NRNA UAE, the event has become a beloved tradition among the Nepali diaspora, celebrating unity, identity, and the power of music. According to Bhim Mall Thakuri, Vice President of NRNA UAE and lead organizer, the event will run from 1 PM to 8 PM. The venue, Al Nasr Leisureland, is located near Oud Metha Metro Station, ensuring easy access for attendees.
“This is more than a concert—it’s an annual festival of our culture, our connection to home, and our unity abroad,” said Thakuri. Tickets are priced at AED 50, and organizers encourage early booking due to high demand.
Kumar Sagar, known for his patriotic and heartfelt songs, will take the stage alongside Khwopa Band, renowned for their unique blend of Nepali folk and rock. Their first-ever joint performance in Dubai is expected to create an unforgettable musical experience.
