Dubai, UAE – As the number of Nepalese arriving in the UAE continues to rise, the cases of individuals becoming stranded due to various reasons have also increased. According to NRNA UAE President Bhim Malla Thakuri, the issue has been reported to the Nepalese Embassy and the Government of Nepal several times, but a permanent official shelter arrangement has not yet been established.
In the meantime, Thakuri stated that NRNA UAE has arranged a temporary shelter using internal resources to support Nepalese who face urgent problems—such as being left without accommodation, visa issues, job loss, or other temporary hardships.
Basic facilities, including food and a safe place to stay, have been managed for those who require immediate support.
President Thakuri added that NRNA UAE will continue providing assistance until a long-term, government-supported solution is created.
