Sometimes in life, we come across people who don’t just impress us with their talent, but deeply touch our hearts through their character. One such person, for me, is none other than Roj Moktan.
He is a successful Nepali singer with a soulful voice, numerous hit songs, and countless admirers. But beyond the stage lights and applause, there is a humble, grounded, and genuinely respectful human being—and that’s what makes him truly special.
I first met Roj Dai eight years ago during an event organized to celebrate Buddha Jayanti. At that time, I was just another audience member—yet the way he interacted with everyone, the way he spoke with warmth and humility, left a lasting impression on me.
There was no ego, no attitude of being a “celebrity.” Just a calm, sincere person who treated everyone with equal respect.
That one encounter made me realize:
“A true artist is not just known by his songs, but by his soul.”
Fast forward to INAS Musical Dhamaka 2025, I had the opportunity to meet him again here in the UAE. After so many years, I saw the same Roj Moktan—humble, approachable, and filled with grace. Despite his continued success, he remains deeply rooted and effortlessly kind.
His performance on stage was electrifying, but what touched me the most was what happened offstage—his willingness to meet everyone, remember old faces, and make every person feel valued.
In a world where fame often changes people, Roj Moktan stands out as someone who carries his success with humility. While many artists shine only under stage lights, his light comes from within.
Yes, I am a fan of his music. I love his voice and his songs.
But more than that,
I am a fan of the person he is.
Roj Dai, thank you for being not just a gifted singer but an even more remarkable human being.
Your humility is your greatest melody.
